Plerng Kob (Campfire), a group of art lovers, is soon-to-be a social and creative enterprise to keep it sustainable on the mission to bring life back of old art form of Cambodia, and to smaller a gap of old and new Khmer arts, as well as to find a bridge between these two by creating the cultural art event and produce a variety of creative visualized things such as digital online campaign, music, film and design. Our mission is to connect and united the people of Cambodia through art and to promote our art to international audiences. We collaborate to create a place, where variety of Cambodian art forms could be found and experienced, mostly the old art form that is almost wiped out of Cambodian memory. We aim to bring back old art form to life and to support Khmer artists in anyways such as financial and mental support. Hence, we believe that through the activities we take action will create a sense of value and understanding of what it means to be Cambodian. We also hope to inspire other youths to make a move what they could share hands in.
