Megacom was established by mid-1997 as a shareholding company to provide consultation services and software development and implementation. The accounting system of Egyptian Government is considered one of the most complicated systems in the world, with all its validations and controls. As Microsoft partner, and combining the IT capabilities of Megacom personnel, with the profound knowledge that Megacom gained from working with different governmental entities, Megacom has developed an integrated system that is dedicated for Egyptian Governmental Resources Planning (EGRP) and Management. EGRP is developed on the MS Dynamics AX environment. The System cover four modules: Budget, Procurement, Inventory and Accounting. Megacom developed another system, which is "HR/Payroll System (MegaHR)". The system is based on Web technology, as it allows recording and maintaining Human Resources information for different types of enterprises; Trade, Industrial and Hospitality. As well, the system is capable of storing and maintaining Personnel Management data and functions for governmental entities (subject to Public service law).
