MotionWorks is a cartoon producer with great faith in its own productions and services in the field of feature films and TV series. We attach equal importance to both creative design and technological competence. Our professional team is able to handle all aspects of material development, storyboard, layout, background, character and location design using all genres of animation technique: 2-D and 3-D animation, claymation, cut-outs and puppet animation. MotionWorks concentrates on projects which will have international distribution and, for this reason, has built up a national and international network of co-production partners such as our long-standing co-operation with Cartoon Film, Berlin, Enanimation, Turin or Parka Pictures, Copenhagen. But Motion Works also has the aim of establishing ties with new partnerships as with CCI Entertainment, Toronto, peppermint enterprises, Munich, Melusine Productions, Luxembourg or SLR Productions, Sydney. At a branch in Erfurt the company has access to a range of facilities in digital image and sound processing, using Avid DS/Nitris HD, Avid Media Composer Adrenaline/Mojo SDI and ProTools. KI.KA (children‘s TV channel) remains one of our most important clients in the region. Together with regional partners, MotionWorks has set up the European Animation Masterclass (EAM) to provide young talented people with theoretical and practical training in animation technology.
