Promises is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization providing Mental Health Therapy & Wellness services which utilizes horses as members of the therapeutic team along with professionals certified through EAGALA (Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association). EAGALA is the leading international nonprofit association for professionals incorporating horses to address mental health and personal development needs. The team consists of EAGALA certified Licensed Mental Health Counselor, an Equine Specialist and the horses. It is an experiential model that is client centered, ground based and solution oriented. The non-verbal communication of the horses allows the clients an opportunity to tell their own stories.
