International study at Boston University’s Metropolitan College (MET) is more than a chance to learn at a top-ranked U.S. university; it’s a unique opportunity to live in Boston, engaging and interacting with a diverse community of students, scholars, and professionals from around the U.S. and the world. MET is home to more than 70 competitive, challenging, and rewarding undergraduate and graduate degree and certificate programs in the fields of actuarial science, computer science, business administration, criminal justice, urban affairs and city planning, arts administration and gastronomy. Working closely with each partner institution, we ensure that undergraduate and graduate students have an unforgettable, immersive study abroad experience in Boston, benefiting from the extensive resources of Boston University (BU) and the superb faculty at MET. MET International students: • Enroll full-time to study for one or two semesters—fall, spring, or summer – and choose from an array of undergraduate or graduate evening classes at MET. • Fulfill home institution study abroad requirements and receive an official BU transcript upon completion. • Receive coordinated academic advising, including pre-arrival advice, and have access to student services and support staff. • Graduate students enrolled in management programs may participate in credit-bearing internships.
