Langara-based social media club that provides students with hands-on opportunities to create great content and apply their passion for social media & fashion. Langara Digital Club also known as a college social media academy was founded to fill club members’ portfolios with relevant industry experience from mastering major social media channels, learning how to create engaging content to grasping graphic design and DSLR photography basics. Our members known as owls & owlettes are passionate about all things digital as well as fashion and like to get their hands dirty. Fashion aspect helps us stay creative and create our own content by focusing on stylish Langarians, their stories as well as Vancouver fashion events. Our hope is that members that complete the academy won’t have troubles finding a lucrative Coop placement or a job once they finish their studies.
