Habitat is where you listen & celebrate... The full history of Habitat spans decades, set in motion with the construction of Kelowna’s very first liquor store back in the late ‘50s. In 2004 it was re-discovered and used for the cultural Art and Music Festival, Duotone. 2005 saw the earliest incarnation of Habitat events. The space was a blank canvas for art exhibitions, fashion shows and local bands (Ladyhawk, Alpha Baby/Yukon Blonde, Black Mountain, and many more) came together to breathe life into the space. It’s taken 8 years and hundreds of shows. We’ve put blood, sweat and tears to get where we are today. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do! WHAT IS HABITAT?
