We buy 100% renewable electricity, green gas, and water for other organisations, so they can benefit from the cost savings of bulk energy buying. Over the past 10 years we’ve saved our partners over £100 million in energy costs. Our award-winning team works with both private and public sector organisations. Clients include the National Trust, RoadChef, JD Williams, N Brown, the Youth Hostel Association, Emirates and Nationwide. Most of our customers choose to buy the Co-op’s ethically-sourced, 100% green electricity to save money and reduce their carbon footprint. Because we’re all in it together, we navigate the market so our energy members do not have to, deploying a range of innovative tools to drive better value and control. It also means we are helping to build the UK’s renewable energy capacity, while promoting ethical and sustainable practices - we will always strive to do the right thing. As part of our commitment to zero carbon, we’ve invested in the development of five wind farms across the UK and we’ve already cut our direct carbon impact by 50%. But we’re not stopping there.
