Dr Knopman is confident providing an expert opinion/report regarding Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) and Income Protection insurance claims (if related to cognitive decline), Fitness for Duty, and cognitive capacity within both clinical and medico-legal settings (e.g., testamentary capacity, capacity to appoint or revoke a guardian or POA, capacity to manage finances etc.). Dr Knopman has completed training in the Assessment of Permanent Impairment with the Motor Accidents Authority (MAA) and WorkCover (now iCare and SIRA). He has been appointed as an Expert Reviewer for the Health Care Complaints Commission (HCCC) and provides assessments for AHPRA and the Medical Council of NSW.
