Founded in 1995 by legendary film producer Cary Woods, Independent Pictures is the production company behind worldwide blockbusters like SCREAM and GODZILLA, as well as indie darlings like RUDY, SWINGERS, COP LAND, and KIDS. We currently have over a dozen projects in development, spanning all kinds of Films, Television Series, and Documentaries, including the remake of the Oscar-Nominated foreign film REVANCHE, now titled REVENGE, and the historic, first-ever co-production between Iran and the US, a documentary called DWA.
