Debate club EFZG is a non-profit, apolitical and non-governmental organization that organizes projects, seminars and conferences for students with an emphasis on argued discussion and dialogue. The core business of the Debate club EFZG is a student debate where students can develop their soft skills, as well as their managerial and organizational skills. Also, students have the opportunity to work on projects and gain hands-on experience. The main goal of the club is to encourage students to discuss current economic, social and political issues and to strengthen their culture of dialogue. Organizational structure Debate club EFZG is composed of four functional teams: 1. HR & Education Team designs weekly meetings, educates members for tournaments, tracks members’ progress and organizes team building sessions. 2. Project Management Team is responsible for planning, implementation and coordination of projects, as well as cooperation with partners. 3. PR & Marketing Team does all the branding for various projects, works with the media and runs social networks. 4. Sales & Sponsorship Team is in charge of seeking sponsors, donors and partners for projects and applying for tenders. 5. Debate Team is the key part of developing essential critical thinking skills and makes sure our students have the ability to make reasoned and well thought out arguments in addition to questioning the evidence behind a particular stance or conclusion
