The Liquor and Gaming Authority of Manitoba (LGA) is the regulator for liquor and gaming in Manitoba. We license liquor sales, service and manufacturing, and license gaming employees, products and operations. The LGA's mandate will be expanded to regulate the purchase, storage, distribution and retail of cannabis when cannabis becomes legal later in 2018. The LGA is neither pro- nor anti-liquor or gaming. We strive to be neutral about the products and services we regulate and to provide a high standard of service through a balanced and independent approach.
