We are a group of Canadian security and defence professionals spread across the academic, private industry, and the policy fields who noticed an absence of cross-pillar engagement and outreach to the next generation of leaders in our sector. We decided to do something about it. Emerging Leaders in Canadian Security connects students, early and mid-career professionals with the broader Canadian security and defence community. ELCS promotes inclusivity and engagement within the Canadian security and defence space through the support of emerging leaders entering the sector; ultimately working to build a more diverse, skilled, and secure Canada.
