Our Story: Gino's Restaurant & Cocktail Lounge has been a community staple dating back to 1923. It would be hard to find someone in the Keweenaw Peninsula who didn’t have a story to share about the spot. In the Fall of 2017, Gino’s closed it’s doors and the community immediately felt the void. Our family felt it too – this was the motivation behind our desire to re-open in the Spring of 2018 and continue a treasured local tradition! Our goal is to make Gino’s a destination in the City of Hancock that provides exceptional food and service in the Copper Country. We want it to be a place that people feel welcome and not only want to frequent but feel like they are part of our family.
