WE EXIST TO SATURATE SOUTH FLORIDA AND BEYOND WITH THE HOPE OF JESUS CHRIST. At Two Rivers, we believe in real community and place a high value on authentic relationships, building strong families, children and creating a strong sense of community in and outside of the church. MISSION Our name speaks to a missional alignment that we will constantly pursue. Jesus said in John 4:24, that His worshipers would worship Him in Spirit and Truth. These two rivers; or traditions, we call Word and Spirit are often expressed independently or in a lop-sided form. Typically, the Word tradition is seen in the modern day evangelical church, where there is a strong emphasis placed on Bible study, scripture memorization, and the authority of God’s Word. Likewise, the Spirit tradition is seen in the modern day charismatic church, where expressive worship, gifts of the Spirit, and God’s manifest presence are emphasized.
