Korea Drug Development Fund

It aims to transform Korea into the global leader for new drug development. It has a budget of 1 billion US dollars to enhance national competitiveness in the global arena. KDDF is now backed by three health-related Korean ministries: the Ministry of Science, ICT, and Future Planning, the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy, and the Ministry of Health and Welfare. KDDF aims to enhance development of at least 10 new global blockbuster drugs by the year 2020.
