CanPath - Canadian Partnership for Tomorrows Health
www.canpath.caThe Canadian Partnership for Tomorrow’s Health (CanPath) is Canada’s largest population health study and has undertaken vital work over the past decade to understand how lifestyle, behaviour, genetics, and the environment interact and lead to disease. The national cohort brings together seven regional cohorts: BC Generations Project, Alberta's Tomorrow Project, Healthy Future Sask, Manitoba Tomorrow Project, Ontario Health Study, CARTaGENE (Quebec), and the Atlantic Partnership for Tomorrow’s Health, which, cumulatively, have enrolled over 330,000 Canadians ages 30 to 74. In addition to capturing health and lifestyle information, participants have contributed biological samples. Participants are followed over time to capture changes in their health outcomes. CanPath is hosted by the University of Toronto’s Dalla Lana School of Public Health with national funding from the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer. The Ontario Institute for Cancer Research (OICR) hosts CanPath data in a safe and secure environment.
