The KBB Centre
www.kbbeastanglia.co.ukThe KBB Centre is a family run business based in Ipswich, designing, supplying & installing beautiful kitchens, bathrooms & fitted bedrooms. Owned & managed by brothers Roger & Patrick Peck, with over 60 years combined industry knowledge they have built up the business over the last 15 years with hard work, long hours, determination and an eye for detail. The brothers have followed closely in the footsteps of their family tradition. The story of KBB began in the early 1970’s with Roger & Patricks late father, Alan Peck, of ‘Starline’s’ fame who started up his first home improvement business on Foxhall Road, Ipswich. In 1975 Alan Peck moved his business, Star Lines, to a unit on Fore Street. The shop sold a variety of home improvement furnishings from kitchen worktops to glassware. Alan eventually decided to specialise in kitchens & bathrooms. Starline’s will always be remembered for its main advertising jingle, with many locals singing ‘Let’s go down to Star Lines’ to the tune of Mike Oldfield’s In Dulce Jublio. Both boys worked at Starline’s in their youth and although going on to do other things in the industry over the years they came back together & established KBB in 2003, working out of a small unit on Elton Rd Business Park. As the company grew they moved to Lion Barn Ind. Estate in Needham Market & finally to Dales Road, where in 2009, Ipswich Town footballer, Fabian Wilnis officially opened the new KBB showroom. The KBB Centre is now one of the largest independent kitchen & bathroom retailers in the area. KBB’s stunning showroom on Dales Rd has over 5000 square ft of kitchen, bathrooms & bedrooms on display, with an unrivalled choice of doors, worktops, appliances, tiles, bathroom goods & fitted bedroom furniture. Using in house plumbers, plasterers & electricians, as well as a wealth of building knowledge, KBB can offer a unique fully managed service. KBB pride themselves on customer service & believe that the best form of advertising is word of mouth.
