Tectosat Ltd.
www.tectosat.comTectosat is a consultancy providing geological, structural and neotectonic mapping for regional lead definition and detailed prospect mapping using remotely sensed satellite, airborne and digital elevation data to reduce exploration risk, whether for resource extraction or geohazard analyses. Tectosat has experience in almost all climatic domains, using the full spectra of remote sensing technologies and sensors, whether optical, radar or LiDAR, from both satellite and airborne platforms, working for the vast majority of the world’s super-majors and small independent explorers. Extensive experience ranges from continent scale (1m scale) through regional (1:200,000 scale) down to mapping of fracture populations across folds at 1:1,000 scale, across EAME, SE Asia and the Americas, servicing Hydrocarbon, Mineral, Engineering/Hazard Analysis market sectors. Recent projects have included basin-scale tectonics and lead generation in the Zagros-Tauride FFTB, Petroleum Seepage analysis in the Zagros and Lake Chad region, engineering pre-FEED desk study in Saudi Arabia, Au Mining in PNG using LiDAR, ongoing work promoting licensing round in Angola in partnership with Trois Geoconsulting and DDMS and current research into active faulting along the Altyn Tagh Fault in the Karakax Valley. Tectosat offers:- Regional tectonic syntheses Basin wide tectono-stratigraphic mapping Detailed Lead and Prospect isolation Onshore Hydrocarbon Seepage mapping Geomorphology/tectonic geomorphological analysis Drainage basin analysis Fault/fracture mapping Mineral alteration mapping Integration of data with potential field/airborne geophysics data Tectosat will advise clients which imagery would provide maximum benefit for their purposes, whether for a one-off situation of for longer, multi-phase monitoring. Tectosat Ltd was founded in 2016 and takes its name from one of the original NPA product lines, with the agreement and support of Nigel Press.
