With a passion for innovative design and a foundation in custom woodworking, master cabinetmakers John and Doug Durbin founded nuHaus on Chicago’s north shore in 1989. Their vision was to create extraordinary and functional environments through their unique approach to design. nuHaus has gained a reputation for creative solutions to space and an uncompromising attention to detail. Family owned and operated, nuHaus designs, manufactures and installs fine architectural millwork and cabinetry, specializing in kitchen interiors and architecture. In June of 2013 nuHaus opened a new showroom located in Chicago's River North District at 120 W. Hubbard Street.
