Mission Possible Kids
www.missionpossiblekids.orgMISSION POSSIBLE KIDS (MPK) empowers kids and teens to become future-ready “agents of change” in our world by helping others, changing their own lives, too. We offer a service learning program for elementary ages, showing kids how they can make a difference now through hands-on TOP SECRET missions helping kids in shelters, hospitals, and orphanages as well as food banks, nursing homes, and and animal shelters. Our kids have helped 4 million people in need. MPK also offers the Teen Internship & Career Services, the first of its kind in Plano and currently the largest single-site provider of high-school internships. It began over a decade ago and has grown from one intern to 20-25 teens each summer gaining valuable job experience and career/life training for college and beyond, all while contributing to the greater good. In our Corporate Employee Engagement Program, corporations hire MPK as service learning experts to foster employee engagement in service. Our largest client is Fidelity Investments in Texas, Kentucky, and Florida. Other clients include EY, Liberty Mutual, and Samsung. MPK began as our founder’s desire to support her 4-year old son in his passion to help others in need, when no service opportunities could be found for young children. This led to launching MPK in 2003 with 160 kids. In 2005, MPK became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit; in 2007 new chapters were launched in Dallas. Today, over 50,000 kids and teens have been in MPK including low-income schools in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex plus other schools where at-risk students are learning that they, too, have the power to change the world. With service as our core, our corporate office works with 500 volunteers and pro bono professionals annually. We appreciate your support! Donate now at https://missionpossiblekids.org/donate
