Sardar Patel hospital & Heart institute has been working as a 50 bed hospital. In 2010 The need for a larger and better equipped hospital with State of the Art facilities was acutely felt, particularly in view of the glaring gap between available medical facilities and need for top class health care services. To bridge this deficiency and to make Bharuch District a hub of comprehensive medical services, it was decided to build a new, four storied ultra modern building for the hospital.
