Many people know me as an IT business or a management consultant with 28 years of experience with two university degrees and helping public and private sector organisations. So, my clients approach me to provide them with end-to-end solutions to achieve business outcomes and turn around their failing business processes into productivity engines. Many people DON’T KNOW about me is I started as a tech entrepreneur after finishing my computer science degree in 1995. We lost it because we were not business savvy and bootstrapping. Then, I took an oath to reduce the start-up mortality rate because they are high in the first few years. That led me to coach and mentor tech start-ups to be funding ready. I also helped investors by assessing business plans for funding. These experiences shaped me to understand how I can help a start-up set up correctly, grow and succeed. Many online businesses which don’t fall under the tech start-up umbrella are easy-entry businesses. So, prone to fail quicker when set up and managed haphazardly. So, I work with women entrepreneurs and help them set up their online business to grow quicker with a solid foundation. In my opinion, many online businesses fail because they often adopt traditional or patchwork strategies and fail to innovate. So, I help women-led small/medium businesses to thrive while making a difference and impact. I am on a mission to guide and support their businesses to embrace & leverage technology to innovate and disrupt their marketplace instead of fearing the changing technology.
