I aim to create a guilt-free space so you can become the ‘you’ you’ve forgotten and fall in love with your body. I live in Southfields, London, with my husband and two children. After over 13 years working in the corporate world as a strategic communications consultant, I wanted to prove to myself I still had the ability to push myself and learn something new. So, after a heartbreaking year in 2017, I challenged myself to re-train as a Pilates instructor. Combining all three jobs (yes, motherhood is a full-time job!) made for a tough 2018 but it was the best decision I ever made. However, my heart wasn’t in the communications world anymore and I took voluntary redundancy in 2020. After the births of both my children, I realised that there wasn’t enough support for women needing to recover from childbirth and I felt compelled to do something about it. Hence the birth of Your Time Pilates! I believe strongly in the benefits of working with clients 1:1 in order to provide correction throughout the class and prevent injury through poor alignment or positioning. I am a Level 3 Diploma, CIMSPA registered, mat-based Pilates instructor and am qualified to teach: - Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Mat Pilates - Pre and Post Natal Exercise - Pilates for Common Orthopaedic Conditions - Pilates with Small Equipment Other qualifications include: - Developing glutes for optional functional and postural stability - Optimising shoulder stability to achieve optimal overhead position
