Agoura Hills is a unique suburban community situated at the edge of Los Angeles County just south of Ventura County. As a local government agency, there are a variety of great career opportunities. The City operates as a contract city, contracting out for many of its general services. The following departments manage daily and long-term operations: City Manger, Community Development, Finance, Building & Safety, Public Works, City Clerk, and Community Services. The staff operates under a "family structure," in that everyone works cross departmentally to accomplish the goals set by the City Council.
