Dr Brian McEllistrem and Dr Muireann Clifford have opened Mungret Medical Centre (MMC) as a new practice in the village of Mungret in the suburbs of Limerick city. From the outset, Mungret Medical Centre (MMC) has been set up with the highest standards in mind in order to deliver quality healthcare in the community. MMC is a General Practitioner (GP) practice of the community, being wholly operated by Dr Brian McEllistrem and Dr Muireann Clifford. Dr McEllistrem himself being a Limerick native. Our services include some of the following, General Practice (GP) services (acute care, chronic care such as asthma and diabetes, mental health issues etc), women's health, men's health, joint injections, cryosurgery (freezing of skin moles etc.), screening services (CervicalCheck etc.), vaccinations (childhood and other), phlebotomy (blood tests), driving licence medicals, and occupational health services.
