The Washington County Community Foundation (WCCF) was initiated by community leaders to encourage charitable giving. Its mission is to improve the quality of life in Washington County, Pennsylvania, by promoting and facilitating philanthropy. A 501(c)(3) charitable corporation, the WCCF distributes charitable grants in six broad categories of arts and humanities, education, environment and animal welfare, health and fitness, human needs, and religion and faith-based programs.
