Community Futures Fraser Fort George
www.cfdc.bc.caCommunity Futures Fraser Fort George (CF-FFG) is a small business resource centre. We’ve been successfully delivering services to small business owners and entrepreneurs, as well as leveraging much needed capital into the local economy since 1987. Our services include business coaching, small business management training and workshops, micro and small business loans, the provincially funded Self Employment Benefit Program, networking opportunities, a resource library and business information services. In addition to supporting entrepreneurs, Community Futures actively leads, promotes and supports a variety of regional and community grassroots economic development and diversification initiatives, strategic planning processes, research and feasibility studies, and implements a diverse range of community projects. We are a locally autonomous, not-for-profit organization lead by a Board of Directors and community volunteers who provide guidance and expertise to the organization and who together ensure that our efforts are consistent with the needs and desires of the communities we serve. The majority of our Directors have a strong entrepreneurial or business management background to ensure the organization is guided by local people who are familiar with local business conditions. We also are a member of Community Futures British Columbia (CFBC). For more information about CFBC visit: www.communityfutures.ca.
