Welcome to Bernardo Winery! We look forward to you visiting our Winery and Village tucked away in the hills of North County, San Diego. Come to taste the wine and stay to enjoy all that the winery has to offer in our little slice of the old country. The Bernardo Winery, family owned for three generations and over 130 years old, is still fully functional as a producing winery in San Diego, using San Diego grapes. The winery has transitioned over the years from the early production and growing style established in San Diego by the missionaries to a blend of modern winemaking and the old ways. Bernardo Winery produces Italian varietals as well as Spanish and French varietals, dry climate style wines well suited for the San Diego Terrior. Our tasting room is open daily to sample our wines as well as our village of shops and galleries, with their unique products and services. Bring the whole family to explore our historic winery in San Diego, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Visit our tasting room with no reservations needed Wednesday through Sunday and sip and stroll through our village shops. Reservations required for our popular Italian restaurant, The Kitchen at Bernardo Winery. Closed Mon and Tues. No pets permitted on the winery grounds. Event venues available for events of all sizes.
