Welcome to the LinkedIn profile of the iGEM team from Leiden University 2022! The iGEM (International Genetically Engineered Machines) competition had the goal to design and build a synthetic biology system using DNA technologies. After the team of 2016, this year a team of 13 students from Leiden University will present their synthetic biology system at the Giant Jamboree in Boston, October 2018. To get there the system not only has to be designed and built. The entire project had to be funded by the team itsself and promoted via all social media and our own wiki-page.
