White Oak Manor bed and breakfast in Jefferson Texas is a Greek Revival style home built in the early 1900's. While keeping the charm and architectural style we have added modern amenities for your comfort while your visiting on vacation. We invite you to get comfortable and relax on the front porch sipping a glass of wine or enjoy our porch swing whiling away watching the birds and butterflies flying about. Each of our three rooms is located on the second floor and has a delightful mix of historic and modern charm unique to each. All rooms have private bathrooms, Coffee-Tea service, large flat screen TV's with built in DVD players, an assortment of movies, plush bathrobes and all three rooms now have electric fireplaces. Breakfast at the White Oak Manor bed and breakfast is always one of the highlights of the day. The table is set and the aromas of fresh made delicious dishes coming from the kitchen are bound to make any ones mouth water. The fellowships and friendly conversations around breakfast are most times filled with laughter. Jefferson Texas is not exactly the town that time forgot. There are many antique shops, restaurants, clothing shops carrying items both vintage and new, riverboat rides, carriage rides, train rides, canoeing & kayaking and hiking. Our Jefferson Texas hotel is only about 2 1/2 hours drive from the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex traveling east on highway 20. Traveling from Houston Texas we are approximately a 4 hour drive on highway 59.
