Four Leaf
www.eco-label.com.auFour Leaf developed a revolutionary system that rates rates and compares the environmental friendliness of ALL competing products or services and their suppliers. There are 2 models of the Four Leaf system. The first is a retail eco-label developed in response to consumer demand for tools enabling informed eco-friendly purchasing behaviour. Retailers who implement the Four Leaf system not only display their commitment to the environment, but could reap significant competitive advantage. In our worst case scenario we assume that only those who pay extra for Greenpower will switch to a Four Leaf retailer. For the retail grocery industry this translates to over A$9.5 billion in Australian sales and £ 2 billion for the UK. The retail eco-label is marketed on a worldwide basis and further details can be found at www.eco-label.com.au together with research detailing proven consumer demand for environmental purchasing tools. The second Four Leaf model concentrates on the rating and grading of environmental friendliness of companies and their products/services competing in the procurement process. Eco-Leaf was especially developed to fulfil public sector demand to identify and give weighted preference to those companies who have actively reduced their environmental footprint, providing additional depth to the environmental purchasing criteria specific of each tender. Further details are available at www.eco-leaf.com
