He gets his unique sound with the use of harmonics and melodic improvisation. Tina has a very sweet quality to her voice. Much emotion is felt as she sings songs that touch her, such as the 'The Nearness of You' as well as being all about the sass when singing Mama's Broken heart or All About the Bass.
