Tokyo Northern Lights Festival Film Festival in Shibuya Tokyo Feb. 12 to 18, 2011 www.tnlf.jp By organizing Tokyo Northern Lights Festival (TNLF) in Tokyo, Japan , We aim to introduce the cinematographic / audiovisual works from Nordic countries to Japanese audience. Through the collaboration between Japan and Nordic countries, we aim to act upstream to improve the conditions of distribution, showing and dissemination of films from Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Norway and Iceland in Japan. Furthermore, with the addition of side programs, lectures and workshops, we hope to introduce intriguing and refreshing insights into contemporary lifestyle and culture of featured countries, opening a space for debate with and among the audience.
