I was introduced to photography at such a young age, I cannot remember if my first camera arrived before or after I learned how to ride a bike. As well, I developed a deep, if odd, fascination for the macro world. I was formally introduced to photography in a high school course my senior year, this turned into a series of point an shoot cameras each one better than the last. I earned a BS in Biology, with a concentration in Biodiversity and Conservation Biology and Entomology. All the while, becoming enthralled with what was below my feet. My intrigue of nature from the smallest cell to the largest galaxy has only intensified. I would be lying if I said every picture was about beauty, but the world isn’t always beautiful. Sometimes, it’s freaky, or overwhelming, even hard to look at, and sometimes its beautiful. From there I began to focus on people, on infants and couples. Through opportunities I was able to focus on even big picture photography such as corporate and wedding events. My love for capturing moments didn’t just become a fun time, but an outright desire. The more photo shoots of couples vowing their lives to one another, and the more cute little infants I got to photograph, the more joy and excitement I felt. At the time when my love for nature moved into my love for candid photos, I knew it was time to capitalize. As the equipment grew more expensive, the results more captivating, I allowed myself to flourish in the photography world. I want nothing more than to allow you that same excitement when I share your photographs with you. I want you feel the moment although it has passed.
