Our mission is one of opportunity creation by connecting education, employment, and economic development in ways that cultivate prosperity for individuals, organizations, communities, and the economy overall. FIVE FOCUS AREAS: EDUCATION Develop and deliver education programs and solutions for internship program providers, educators, workforce development groups, and individuals. COLLABORATION Engage leaders, practitioners and supporters to provide solutions that serve a collective interest and advancement of internship best practices and innovation. INNOVATION Foster ever more effective ways to forward our mission through partnerships, listening to fellow providers and advocates of on-the-ground practices that ready interns for hire. ADVOCACY Work for appropriate guidelines for interns and employers and assure compliance, equal opportunity and protection against abusive and counter-productive practices. RESEARCH Actionable, high-impact data to build the case for internships and firmly establish TII as the trusted source for those invested in the success of internships.
