Magpie specialises in the early stages of technical projects, leading up to and including tendering and contract negotiation. Typical work involves helping the customer (the owner of the problem) and the contractors (the owners of the solution) reach consensus on where the project is going and how best to get there. Magpie also works with technical projects that are in trouble to help identify the causes of the trouble and develop pragmatic ways ahead.
