Unpredictable and irreprehensibly controversial, we hope to create fashion film that sell a product as well create discourse about what the product aims to sell; because fashion is product and film is conversation. MODACINE isn't just for showcasing work from local and international artists. It is a foundation being constructed to root a solid local and creative fashion and film industry bent on innovation, not on executing existing commercial standards of creativity here locally due to geographical convenience of our creative talent. In other words, ModaCine exists to SET AND DEFINE A STANDARD of what works and innovate the trends that will take lead in the commercial standards of fashion in the world arena. ModaCine International Fashion Film Festival be the biggest thing to happen in the San Francisco fashion film and arts scene all year. ModaCine will be scaled up by an order of magnitude from last year's event. It will take place in 2014 at the the Armory on 14th and Mission, and will feature fashion films from all over the world along with a "retro-futurotic" themed, avant-garde fashion show.
