We offer the following programs: - Senior Activities for Independent Living (SAIL); - Transportation for seniors to their medical appointments; - Daily lunch delivery to home-bound seniors; - Outreach and advocacy in the Crichton-Toulminville community; - A clothing closet free to the publice; - The After School Achievement Program; - Summer Recreation, offered at low-cost to neighborhood families; - Sybil H. Smith Family Village, a transitional housing facility for homeless families; and - A home daycare nutrition program sponsored by the USDA. We also offer the following services in partnership with our tenants: - The Joseph Project, a food pantry through Ashland Place UMC; - Career services for women via Our Sister's Closet; and - Immigration services in partnership with Perry B. Noble, J.D. In 2016, we provided over 21,000 direct services to the Crichton community and Mobile. Dumas Wesley plays a pivotal role by providing a comprehensive lineup of supports for the working poor, the homeless, and many other disadvantaged groups working toward self-efficacy and prosperity. We view every contribution to DWCC programs as an investment in the social, economic, and educational health of our community.
