Our Mission: through a dynamic, innovative leadership team, to develop a profitable, safe, viable expanding Saskatchewan chicken industry. The Chicken Farmers of Saskatchewan (CFS) is a non-profit, farmer-funded marketing board for Saskatchewan’s chicken farmers. Through regulation and agreements with the Chicken Farmers of Canada, the CFS sets the allocation of chicken to its farmers in a supply managed system. The CFS also operates in close relation to the registered processing plants and negotiates prices on behalf of its farmers. The CFS office is located in downtown Saskatoon, Saskatchewan with a small staff of four full-time employees as well as contracted food safety and animal care auditors.
