Thomas Krahenbuhl & Truett Roberts TKTR Architects was founded in 2001 by Thomas Krähenbühl and Truett Roberts. Both principals had their own distinct career in architecture before starting the partnership. TKTR’s various projects include new structures as well as the renovation, reuse, and conservation of existing structures. The firm’s clients include art organizations, educational institutions, and health organizations, as well as commercial and residential clients. We intentionally pursue a broad spectrum of project types. Each of our architectural designs is unique, based on the project’s specific program and location. We believe in a continuous dialogue with the client and the design team from beginning to end of a project. We understand the economic forces that drive the construction process and strategically manage each phase to fulfill the client's expectations. We consider sustainable design a pivotal element for success, and we encourage it on all levels.
