AFA steel company by effort of Mr. Mahmoud Ibrahimi founder and chairman of the board of company, after getting establishment license from Ministry of Industry, Mine & Trade for steelmaking and rebar rolling mill plants, had started its activity on a land with the area of 14 hectares in East Azarbyjan in 2011 This company was registered under the trade name of "AFA steel" at General Department of Industrial Owneship The factory will be established in three phases as follows 1st Phase: Construction of rolling mill plant with annual production capacity of 300000 tons and rebar and medium rolled steel sections (Rebars & Equal Angles) 2nd Phase: Construction of steelmaking plant with annual billet production capacity of 400000 tons 3rd Phase: Construction of rebar rolling plant with annual production capacity of 600000 tons The first phase of plant has already been operated and manufacturing of rebars is in progress according to ISIRI3132 standard and AIII grade in 8 to 32 diameters This company received ISO9001:2008 from QA-Technic Company in Germany in 2013 Standards of manufactured products are as follows The devices and equipments of AFA' Laboratory are complete and manufacturing is in accordance with national and international standards.
