Seppmann Enterprises was founded in 2005 in Mankato, Minnesota. In the spring of 2005 Seppmann Enterprises received their first U.S. Patient on their Hydrant Assist Kit. A Hydrant Assist Kit is an encasement package that attaches a yard hydrant to a waterline. Once installed it eliminates the need for costly and dangerous excavating by allowing servicing of the hydrant from the surface, rather than digging down to the water line. A hydrant can be easily replaced without disturbing adjacent utilities. Since then Seppmann Enterprises has gone ahead and also developed the Universal Check Valve as well as Thermal Pipe Package and the Quick Union Coupler.
