AgriTech Nordic contributes to innovation where new technology intersects with agricultural, forestal and aquacultural industry based out of the region of Trøndelag AgriTech Nordic is an initiative by T:Lab, Trønder-Avisa and Steinkjerfestivalen located in Steinkjer, Norway. Together with a broad spectre of collaborators, our purpose is to contribute to innovation where new technology intersects with agricultural, forestal and aquacultural industry based out of the region of Trøndelag. Norway in general, as well as Trøndelag, is yet to establish a platform focusing on creating new industry, new businesses and new jobs alongside our main industries based on the challenges we face during our times, where technology is the main force behind innovation and development. Technology used in the Norwegian main industries today is primarily imported, this being services and goods which could just as well have been developed and produced domestically
