SMART BUILDING ESTIMATES was established by Mark Taylor off the back of 30 years building trade experience. Mark traded as GSM Contractors for most of those years as well as doing stints on some external building industry development projects. He is proud of the fact that he has had some customers for in excess of 25 years. He has maintained his links with the those customers and still holds building licences in three states for medium rise development. Over the last 3 years Mark’s focus has been on developing a building estimate business to assist all building professionals with their measurement and recording of project quantities and costs. His extensive experience in both commercial and domestic building, and his focus on cost control, has led him to a new phase in his career. Mark has passion for detail and has always been involved in all aspects of the building projects he contracted. His practical attitude encouraged many customers to include him in the design of a project, both in regard to buildability and cost control. Mark has turned that skill and experience into a full-time business and loves what he does.
