Intrinsic Events founder Craig Murray has a long history in the events industry, his experience managing, developing and hosting events runs back to 2004, whilst working within the surf industry delivering events for a number of surf brands and organisations including Surfing New Zealand, Vodafone Surf Sessions, Rip Curl Pro, Billabong Pro, Volcom Pro, Billabong Grom Series. In 2007 slightly changing tac and moving into music, where he co-founded an event based nightclub Flow in Hamilton . Over a 4 year period hosting and promoting over 200 ticketed music events ranging from national music icons Ladi 6, Cornerstone Roots, Ddub, Salmonella Dub to international DJs and local up and coming musicians. 2011 selling venues to promoters and conference organisers in Wellington for the Economic Development Agency , known as WREDA was the next step. Worked with a great team at Positively Wellington Venues guided by Glenys Coughlan for fours years, before moving back home to Rotorua as the Convention Bureau Manager for Destination Rotorua and Sales Manager of the Energy Events Center (one of NZs largest conference Centers venues). With over 15 years’ experience Craig has been across most facets of events and loves to get stuck in.
