Transportation Resource Services, Inc., d/b/a TRS Corp. (TRS) provides right-of-way consulting services to public agencies across the Mountain West. TRS is a Colorado corporation, with office locations in Colorado Springs., Centennial and Grand Junction. TRS developed its right-of-way consulting team in 2007. We have a staff of qualified right of way professionals, and serve municipal agencies across Colorado and the Rocky Mountain Region by drawing upon our decades of experience with the Uniform Relocation and Real Property Acquisition Policy Act of 1970, as amended (Uniform Act), and Title 38, Colorado Revised Statutes. This experience includes working closely agency staff and elected officials who face the challenge of serving the needs of the general public while minimizing inconveniences to individual citizens. Acquiring right of way for any governmental or quasi-governmental agency is a matter requiring respect for due process and private property rights, while advancing infrastructure projects for the greater public benefit. We apply the specific policies and procedures set forth by our clients, in conformance with State law. TRS is approved by the Colorado Department of Transportation to provide right of way consulting services to Colorado Local Public Agencies (LPA’s) in receipt of federal-aid highway funds.
