Our Mission South of Broadway Theatre Company produces theatre of the highest professional standards, ensuring diversity in programming to foster an enduring educational and culturally enriched environment. Our Vision South of Broadway Theatre Company aspires to be a member of the League of Resident Theatres (LORT*), and a nationall recognized “Destination” for Broadway-quality theatre. There are approximately 70 theatres across the country belonging to the “League of Resident Theaters.” None exists in South Carolina. A theatre of this designation is eligible to receive an award during the annual Broadway “Tony Awards” adn to partner with national, and internationally renowned theatres and Broadway Production Houses.
