EC-Rat, Easy tools for Electronic Corrosion Reliability! Welcome to EC-Rat! EC-Rat is short for Electronic Corrosion Reliability Assessment Testing. A "rat" is also used as a term for an informer, and the double meaning of the word makes it appropriate for our company: We produce easy methods and tools for detection of unwanted process residues and materials on electronic devices. The company was founded by researchers with a background in materials and surface science having strong competences in corrosion and climatic reliability issues.
