Our vision is to create a community center focused on food. We see an opportunity to connect the demand for fresh, healthy, and local food with the abundance of what our farmers and craftspeople are producing on the California Central Coast. Our goal is to provide pathways between the supply and the demand in the form of a cooperative market that will feed and nourish North San Luis Obispo County to the greatest extent possible. This will truly be a cooperative food market created by, for, and of the people in this community. The vision guiding and inspiring this project is to create a healthy, integrated, resilient, sustainable, and thriving local food system.
